Having things that are stolen from you are no fun especially if it happens to be a wallet or purse. We have found a few helpful tips to keep in mind as well as help ease your mind

Having your wallet or purse stolen can be a real horror story or just a minor inconvenience, depending on whether or not you implement this tip.

Place the contents of your wallet on a copy machine. Copy BOTH sides of each license, credit card, social security card, voter id, etc. By doing this, you will know what is in your wallet and have all of the account numbers and phone numbers to call and cancel if your wallet is stolen or lost.

Also, if you travel either here or abroad, stash a photocopy of your passport and keep it separate from your real passport. This makes it a whole lot easier to have it replaced should it be stolen while traveling. We’ve all heard the horror stories about what can happen if our identity is stolen. By having the contents of your wallet photocopied, you won’t have to try to remember what cards to cancel or spend hours looking for the phone numbers to the customer service centers.

By using this simple idea, you can nip the thief in the bud and leave them with useless plastic.

This is way too easy, so do this right now. If you don’t have a photocopier available to you, please feel free to come by our office and use ours! Just remember, don’t keep the photocopy list in your wallet; keep it in a safe place at home.

Well, as usual, thanks for letting us help and share some great tips that will help prevent you from becoming a statistic.
